Chloe is the artist and founder behind Silk & Sorrow Ink.
Her approach to tattooing is rooted in the belief that art can be both beautiful and deeply personal. Whether a piece represents a memory, a turning point, a reclamation, or simply the confidence to choose something beautiful for yourself, she understands the significance of being trusted with someone’s skin and their story.
Chloe began her career with an apprenticeship under Sausage, winner of Ink Master Season 4. She has been tattooing since 2022. Her experience has since included tattoo conventions, FanX, charity events, and suicide-awareness events.
Her work spans ornamental and mandala, fine detail, blackwork, black and grey, illustrative, realism, gothic, feminine, and color tattooing.
Chloe welcomes clients to bring references and inspiration while allowing her the creative freedom to make each design her own. She is known for listening closely to what her clients are asking for, refining the smallest details, and creating work that feels considered, unique, and intentional.
The name reflects the duality Chloe has always recognized in art and in people: elegance and darkness, softness and strength, beauty and the experiences that shape it.
For Chloe, tattooing can be an act of reclamation. It can give someone the opportunity to take ownership of their body, find confidence in it, commemorate what mattered, or transform the evidence of a difficult chapter into something they chose for themselves.
Not every tattoo needs a profound story. But when it has one, Chloe understands the privilege of being trusted with it.
Chloe has built Silk & Sorrow to feel elevated and professional without feeling impersonal.
Chloe meets her clients where they are while creating an environment that feels natural for everyone in the room. Some appointments are filled with conversation and laughter; others settle into music and comfortable quiet. There’s no pressure to talk, entertain, or explain yourself. The experience is allowed to take its own shape.
She’s an excellent listener and loves a deep conversation.
She is, however, legally obligated to remind you that she is a tattoo artist and not a therapist.
Outside the studio, Chloe loves music, yoga, the ocean, and her corgi.
Above all, her goal is simple: exceptional work, thoughtful design, and an experience that makes you feel comfortable being exactly who you are.
Chloe currently works by appointment in Salt Lake City, Utah.
